Did you ever read The Mask comics? The Jim Carrey movie is a fucking joke compared to it.

I've been looking for them for ages now...and yeah the movie is a hilarious fucking joke compared to them. I can't hate on the movie though, that interpretation of the character is just too awesome. IMO better than the deranged killer in the comics.

Yeah, true. The comics had a very black comedy aspect to them and had some epic violence scenes, but the fun-loving party animal in the movie is more memorable, I agree on that. I would like to see what would happen if executives decided on a Mask film reboot though, seeing as audiences like their movies darker and more violent nowadays.

Here's a link to the comics, done with voices and sound effects

Necro Butcher or Samoa Joe?

Who won the match in your sig? Razz

A reboot that was true to the comics would be made of wins. The scene in the original movie where he scares off that biker gang would be replaced with him massacring them instead. It would be so awesome.

Thanks for that bro. Voices are cool and sound effects are great. Razz

Joe. Butcher is still awesome though.

If it's the match I'm thinking of then it's Joe. But the arena doesn't look right...so I have no clue. These two have had some awesome matches though.

Oh hell yeah at comic-based film reboot.

I always liked Butcher for some reason. Probs because he's willing to do the most insane shit ever. Craziest Butcher bump you can think of?

Joe t-bone suplexed him on concrete and Butcher didn't flip, instead he landed on his forehead.

Gay, lame and I wish it had never happened.

So awesome and cool. Wish they'd make the third one already.

^same as that but I'm cool with it's 2 film run.

Thoughts on Joel Schumacher's Batman? XP

Batman & Robin is one of the worst movies ever of course, but as a Batman fan, how angry did it make you?

Did you ever watch the Nostalgia Critic's review on it? Funniest thing ever, and the only reason to justify that atrocity's existence.

Yes and you're right. Almost like it was made for the Critic to review it.

Oh man that is a big change. They kept the nice guy finishing last thing and then they gave him some dark fantasies...all for the mask to make reality. That was a bit of a shocker, I was expecting the cartoon loving fun guy who just got crapped on a lot.

Yeah man. Did you hear that all the changes to the story and the character were mainly thanks to Jim Carrey signing onto the project? The original concept for The Mask movie was to have Rick Moranis or Martin Short as Stanley, and to stay true to the comics (Big Head being a murderous psycho) but New Line decided to make it more family-friendly and got Carrey to sign on, hence what we got.

The Big Head comics or the Jim Carrey movie?

O.o

Jim Carrey movie, and cartoon based on the character (why haven't we given this any love?).

It's a tie between The Room and Batman & Robin.

Have you heard the tales of Tommy Wiseau's massive ego? He said he plans on a children's TV show and video game based on The Room. O_o
